A perfectly prepared eggs and toast. Our server/cook was very helpful and although we wanted ‘breakfast’ items she was more than happy to cook them for us. She even prepared a dish of fries (English chips!) for us as well.

Delicious homestyle food! Polite staff! Reasonable Prices! BIG, JUICY HAMBURGERS!!! There aren't many restaurants like this left anymore - you can bet your bottom dollar that I will make a point of supporting this business with my hard-earned money whenever I'm in the area and I'm feeling hungry!

Very delicious pancake , egg and sausage breakfast. Owner/ chef is so sweet ! She brought out 2 complementary beef stews ... this was the best homemade beef stew ever... sorry mom ... if you come ask for the beef stew . Very cool atmosphere. Best breakfast date ever with wife ! Check it out !

We have driven by so many times over the years and decided today was the day to go in. Best decision we've made this week!! Hands down the best Burger I've had in a long time. Wonderful, sweet woman served us with a smile and warmth that makes you feel glad you stopped by. We'll definitely be back.

Stopped at Michael’s family restaurant for breakfast and was pleasantly surprised! Super cute and calm atmosphere and the food and service was great Definitely recommended. The server even brought us an orange for a little fruit treat at the end of our meal.

This is truly a gem. The hostess Mi Hi is really kind and she helped us with our baby so much. She gave him complimentary snacks plate even though we didn’t ask. Later on when our baby had an accident, she helped us clean up and was not angry or irritated at us. All in all, really good experience. We came at Saturday noon so the place was empty other than us. This restaurant deserves more praise for the food and atmosphere.

I wanted to give Michael’s Family Restaurant a try for a while, although I was given the impression that it was closed down for a long time. I finally went there when I was coming to Norrish Creek. When I arrived, the restaurant was somewhat vacant, almost as if it were closed. The appearance of the restaurant looked pretty wholesome with a very nice outdoor dining area. I ordered the Three Buttermilk Pancakes with Eggs and Bacon with coffee to drink. Now the coffee tasted bland, even with lots of cream and sugar added to it. The food I ordered was great. The pancakes were really good on its own and had that fluffy consistency, and the butter syrup made it really savoury. The eggs were good, and the bacon were succulent and tasty. The service was admirable, and establishment seemed quite clean. Michael’s is a decent restaurant with great ambience. Although, it is one that is far outside from where I live. This is still a good place to eat at for locals.
